The BIC Lightning Talk series is an initiative based around our Youtube community,  in an effort to provide a platform for speakers and content for members despite the lack of physical gatherings due to COVID-19.

 

The BIC channel has decide to become a vessel for those who would like to have their talk heard without waiting for a formal CFP.

Talk requirements:

​

- Talk must be 15 - 20  minutes 

- Talk must be in a Cybersecurity or STEM related field.

How to participate

​

There are a variety of ways to participate to suit your speaking style:

 

1) Record your talk on your own and send it in. 

 

You may record your talk on your own and send it in (please stay around the 15 minute mark.) 

 

The talk will then be uploaded to our Youtube channel for viewing.

 

2) Make an appointment with the BIC Team to record your talk.

 

You may email us back to arrange a time to record your talk via Zoom.

 

The talk will then be uploaded to our Youtube channel for viewing.

 

3) Zoom presentation w/ recording (100 person cap).

 

You may also schedule a webinar session with us via Zoom, in order to present your material in real time and take questions (recording optional).

 

The talk will then be uploaded to our Youtube channel for viewing.
